Chair No. 140, a light and elegant chair with beautiful clean lines and timeless expression. The chair’s characteristic woven backrest brings back nature and embraces today’s modern life. Designed in 1956 and taps into the essence of Danish Modern with its clean lines, functional design and expert craftsmanship.
The curved seat, which is crafted from multiple layers of veneer, appears to float above the legs and is ideal for upholstering. The seat can be upholstered in a variety of fabrics and leather and complements a variety of interiors and styles. The curved backrest is available in the following options: Hand-woven Cane, Danish Paper Cord woven or wood only (no hand-woven cane or paper cord).
Every piece is made in Denmark and individually numbered on final assembly.
