Table No. 178 is inspired by Bernh. Pedersen & Søn’s pedestal tables from the 1960s and taps into the essence of Danish Modern with its clean lines, functional design and expert Danish craftsmanship.
Size Ø110 cm and Ø120 cm, extendable circular table, features a table top of solid wood with a slim edge profile. Sculptural pedestal base of solid wood with adjustable levelling feet. Prepared for two extension leaves.
Accommodates 4-6 people at standard size and offers flexibility to add more people to the table. Without traditional legs, this pedestal table design is airy, almost floating in a way that provides maximum tabletop room without crowding the ground. Its design features a solid pedestal base that offer a supportive and sturdy base.
Table top available in solid wood (oak, walnut), MDF/linoleum (21 colours) with black edge profile, MDF/nano-laminate (black, white and almond) with black edge profile or marble (non-extendable). The linoleum has a matte look, feels warm to the hand and is renowned for its elegance and durability. The table base is made from solid oak, solid walnut and treated with nautral oil, clear lacquer or black lacquer.
Every piece is made in Denmark and individually numbered on final assembly.
Bernh. Pedersen & Søn, a Danish furniture maker, has a long and strong tradition in furniture and cabinetmaking stretching all the way back to the company’s start in 1902. Through three generations the family firm has created and sold classic Danish furniture to many parts of the world.
